Hard to believe our little girl is approaching the one month mark! Today we decided she was ready to test out the baby bjorn and experience the city of Chicago for the very first time. What better way to see downtown than on a beautiful fall day while watching thousands of runners accomplish 26.2 miles! You'd think after running the past two years I could keep my emotions in tact, but I till can't help but get emotional watching so many amazing people fulfill such a incredible goal. One of these incredible people included my little sister Lauren! She tackled her first marathon running a 3:46, just 6 minutes over qualifying for Boston... and of course 30 seconds faster than her older sister's PR! We couldn't have been more proud! Hoping Grace's first marathon experience was wonderful enough to motivate her to run with Mom (and hopefully Dad) in one down the road :)
