| This is obviously a big "no-no" in PT land for how Grace is supposed to be sitting, but too cute not to post :) Also shows the flexibility we're dealing with! |

Happy 12 months (and 5 days) Grace Mackenzie!
Well, we made it! An entire year of beautiful memories with our sweet Grace. What a ride it has been! As excited as I was to make it to this wonderful milestone, the feeling is certainly bittersweet. My baby is no longer a "baby", but a miniature toddler who loves to army crawl, scrunch her nose, make monster noises, squirm while being changed, share toys then grab them back, feed Kingston puffs, change the channel, stick flowers in her mouth, be rocked to sleep, watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, swim sometimes, play with i-phones (or water bottles, doors, toilets... all sorts of prohibited things), give slobbery tongue filled kisses and say the cutest of words. Every day seems to bring something new. Yesterday Grace said "bubbles" for the first time at physical therapy... what?! Her mind is a sponge (which I learned quickly after repeatedly yelling "BAD" at Kington only to watch her hit him and yell the same... Oops). Other favorite words as of recently include apple, up, juice, cheese, dog, ball and mama and dada while pointing to our pictures.... which has obviously made both Zach and I very happy. I think an easy family favorite has been the frightening growl noise our peanut makes when we ask her to "be a monster". Guess what our scary girl's Halloween costume is this year? Hmmm...... :)
