Our little football fan

Once she's walking and talking, she can decide her favorite teams! For now, check out who Grace has been cheering for :)

Sharing Dad and Grandpa Tom's love for the Pack.. and of course the #4 :)
When the Packers aren't playing, we're cheering for Chicago. Go Bears!
Like Mother, like Daughter :)
"Now I'm just confused... who am I cheering for again?" - Miss Grace
And of course, loving our Buckeyes! O-H-I-O... Go Bucks :)

All smiles on Halloween

Grace's first smiles were caught on tape tonight! The past few weeks we've had a couple good ones (usually followed by spit up or a rather loud noise from below), but could never catch them in time to document! Looks like Halloween makes our lil girl extra happy :)

Grace meets Brayden!

Grace got to meet her newest buddy / boy-friend, Brayden James Howrigon, on Friday afternoon! Brayden is an absolute stud, and we couldn't be happier to have the Howrigon family nearby as our kiddos grow. Many fun play dates (and hopefully Buckeye football games... if Sean allows it) to look forward to in years to come! :)

One week photos are finally up!

Just got access to these since sending our birth announcements! Here are a few of my favorites from Grace's one week photoshoot. Lauren Williams from Lauren Michelle Studios did an amazing job. Grace was super alert (which isn't exactly fun for a photographer at this age.. haha) but made for some ridiculously adorable faces. Enjoy!

Costume Day at Cosley!

We spent Friday morning at Cosley Animal Farm with Grace's best friends, Josh Labelle and Jack and Hank Stowell to sport their adorable Halloween costumes. Grace is unfortunately very outnumbered at the moment by all the boys, but is anxiously anticipating the arrival of little girl Labelle any day now! The kiddos couldn't have looked cuter! We were a little bummed that we couldn't manage a group shot given all the chaos, but always have next year :)

Our little blooming flower.
Gracie sleeping soundly on the pumpkins.
Little stinker Josh! The skunk was an absolute hit at Cosley. So adorable!
Pretty stinkin cute :)
Cute little gnome I found.
Jack climbing the pumpkins. So happy Stowell's were in town for the weekend!
Moms and babes.
Gracie with her newest buddy/boyfriend Hank! Born a week and a half apart at CDH.
Gracie with Hank and his big brother Jack. The flower, the bee and gnome went together wonderfully :) Now all we needed was our friend the skunk!

Happy (belated) 1 Month Miss Gracie!

She's getting so big! Outgrowing most of her newborn clothes (tear) and graduated to size 1 diapers! Grace is loving her Baby Einstein play gym these days and can finally grasp on to rattles, mom's nice necklaces (yikes) and tends to take random punches at her parents when feisty :) Can't believe a month has already passed us by! Time needs to slow down....

Grace's first marathon

Hard to believe our little girl is approaching the one month mark! Today we decided she was ready to test out the baby bjorn and experience the city of Chicago for the very first time. What better way to see downtown than on a beautiful fall day while watching thousands of runners accomplish 26.2 miles! You'd think after running the past two years I could keep my emotions in tact, but I till can't help but get emotional watching so many amazing people fulfill such a incredible goal. One of these incredible people included my little sister Lauren! She tackled her first marathon running a 3:46, just 6 minutes over qualifying for Boston... and of course 30 seconds faster than her older sister's PR! We couldn't have been more proud! Hoping Grace's first marathon experience was wonderful enough to motivate her to run with Mom (and hopefully Dad) in one down the road :)

Hospital Photoshoot

Wanted to share Grace's 1 day old photos from the hospital. She worked the camera like a lil supermodel, and the pictures turned out beautiful! We have loved every minute of having our baby girl at home this week, and had a hard time letting Dad go back to work yesterday. Can't believe she is already a week old! Our other "child" Kingston is slowly but surely getting used to our new addition hanging around the house. I sensed a bit of jealousy yesterday when he strutted into the nursery while I was feeding Grace, looked me straight in the eye, and picked up his leg to pee all over the ottoman I had my feet on! I couldn't believe it. He hasn't had an accident in our house since we first got him over a year ago (not that this looked anything liked an accident... haha) so it was definitely out of character. Needless to say, I gave him a little extra TLC (after a good yell of course) the rest of the morning :)

All of God's grace in one little face

On Wednesday September 14, 2011, God blessed us with an amazing addition to our little family, a beautiful baby girl we named Grace Mackenzie Ullrich. She was born at 4:36 AM weighing 7 lbs. 10 oz. and 21.5 inches long. There are no words to describe the past 48 hours Zach and I have endured together. Grace's entrance into this world has easily become the most amazing, rewarding moment of both our lives and has already changed us forever. The definition of love has taken on an entirely new meaning to both of us. She already has us wrapped around her little finger leaving us speechless every time we look into her baby blue eyes. Zach swears she looks "just like Mom", but I won't be convinced until a few weeks go by :)

Here are a few pictures of the our hospital stay from start to (almost) finish, and our newest pride and joy!

Zach and I right after arriving at the hospital.
So happy after being told we weren't leaving without our baby!

Labor and Delivery room. Still in good spirits despite everything being slowed down quite a bit.

Zach loving the birthing balls... haha

Minutes after delivery! Such a miracle!

Proud Daddy holding Gracie Mack for the first time.

Our new (and incredibly improved) little family!

Dad's new favorite hat for Grace! Thanks so much Renata :)

Gracie's first photo shoot. One of the many beautiful pictures we'll be receiving shortly! She worked the cameras like a supermodel :)

I couldn't be more in love. She is everything I dreamed of and more.

Thanks to all our family and friends for the incredible about of support, love and prayers since our 9 month journey to this day began. Grace is one lucky little girl to have so many special people in her life already! We will be taking her home for the first time tomorrow afternoon, and couldn't be more thrilled. We can't wait to finally use the nursery we've spent so many hours preparing, and are looking forward to introducing our puppy Kingston to his new best bud.

Stayed tuned for many pictures and videos to come! I have a strong feeling her little eyes will be very used to the flash of a camera by the time this week is over :)
